BIOMonica has earned the prestigious Photographic Craftsman and Master of Photography degrees from the Professional Photographers of America. She opened her studio in 2000 and is widely known throughout the industry for her knowledge of branding and marketing and graphic design, all of which she used to design the Sigmon Taylor Photography website, along with all of the studio marketing pieces.
Her beautiful photography is highlighted by the amazing connection and relationship that she develops with her subjects.
Michael is a past president of the Professional Photographers of America (a 29,000 member association) and the American Society of Photographers. He has given over 400 seminars around the world, including Japan, the Philippines, Korea, England, Mexico and Italy.
His distinguished portfolio includes portraiture of Gerald Ford, Marlo Thomas, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis and he is known the world over for his true gift with lighting. He and Monica joined their talents together in 2005 and create portraits that reveal the true personality of their subjects with emotion and honesty.
Sigmon Taylor Photography is both a commercial photography studio and retail portrait studio. They own an urban flavored boutique studio in Williamsburg, Virginia and are members of the prestigious Society of XXV, which comprises 25 unique and talented photographers from around the world.
